Scandium Acetate 99.999% is applied in optical coating, electronic ceramics and laser industry. Dentists use Erbium, Chromium: Yttrium-Scandium-Gallium Garnet (Er,Cr:YSGG) lasers for cavity preparation and in endodontics.
Acetates are excellent precursors for production of ultra high purity compounds and nanoscale materials. The other main application is used for manufacturing crystal dopant.
